The Butterfly Effect

"The Butterfly Effect" (2020) is the idea that even the smallest things can work as a catalyst and have non-linear impacts on a complex system. The concept is imagined with a butterfly flapping it's wings and causing a typhoon at the other side of the world. It's part of the chaos theory which states that within the apparent randomness of chaotic complex systems, there are underlying patterns, interconnectedness and self-organization. The work is printed on aluminium and presented in a black wooden frame (53cm x 53cm). Limited edition of 5.
