Wakan Tanka

In Lakota spirituality "Wakan Tanka" (2021) is the term for the Sacred or the Divine, which could be translated as "Great Mystery". It can be interpreted as the sacredness that resides in everything. They believe that objects, places and creatures all possess a distinct spiritual essence and that reality is identical with divinity.
